Maresias:

É uma das praias do Litoral Norte de SP mais conhecida no Brasil e no exterior. É o point da galera jovem e descolada, que vem em busca de badalação, seja na praia ou em suas agitadas casas noturnas. Maresias é também referência mundial do Surf, pela qualidade de suas ondas, sediando diversos campeonatos incluindo etapas de mundiais. De frente para o mar, a Praça Internacional do Surf, recém-inaugurada pela Prefeitura, é a mais nova atração do bairro. Centro de treinamento para atletas no surf, pista de skate, centro de informações turísticas e exposição permanente contando a história do surf é um pouco do que a praça oferece aos visitantes. Descoberta há cerca de 20 anos por aventureiros do surf, sedentos de uma dose extra de adrenalina no sangue, na época acessível por uma estrada de terra em precárias condições. A praia é simplesmente maravilhosa, são cerca de cinco quilômetros de areia branca, fininha e água cristalina, especial para o banho ou um passeio de barco. O lugar também é perfeito para passeios com guias especializados na Mata Atlântica, onde poderá apreciar as belezas da fauna e flora local. A praia tem fortes arrebentações provocadas por uma laje submersa que também proporciona um mergulho inesquecível. Em seu horizonte pode ser avistado o arquipélago de Alcatrazes. Ao sul, no “Canto do Moreira”, quebram as melhores ondas. Cercada pela Mata Atlântica, tornou-se um dos principais pólos do turismo sofisticado do país. Boa para a prática de: Surf, bodyboard, caminhada, frescobol, skate, futvôlei, futebol e vôlei de areia, entre outros. Infra-estrutura: Com uma das melhores infra-estruturas do Litoral Norte-SP, o ponto alto são suas pousadas e hotéis que oferecem bom gosto, hospitalidade e atendimento personalizado, em ambientes onde o requinte se traduz no natural. Além disso, bares, restaurantes, campings, danceterias e barracas na praia atendem a demanda turística do local.  

It is one of the beaches of the North Coast SP better known in Brazil and abroad. It is the point of a trendy young crowd who come seeking buzz, whether on the beach or in their busy nightclubs. Maresias is also a global benchmark of Surfing, the quality of its waves, hosting many world championships including steps. Facing the sea, the Plaza International Surf, newly opened by the city, is the newest attraction in the district. Training center for athletes in surf, skate, tourist information center and permanent exhibition telling the story of the surf is a little square that offers visitors. Discovered about 20 years for surf adventurers, hungry for an extra dose of adrenaline in the blood, then accessible by a dirt road in poor conditions. The beach is just wonderful, is about five miles of white sand, crystal clear water and thin, especially for swimming or boating. The place is also perfect for sightseeing with expert guides in the Atlantic, where you can enjoy the beauty of the local flora and fauna. The beach has strong breaking waves caused by an underwater ledge that also provides an unforgettable diving. On the horizon can be seen the archipelago Alcatrazes. South, in "Canto do Moreira," break the best waves. Surrounded by the Atlantic, has become one of the main tourism sophisticated country. Good to practice: Surf, bodyboard, hiking, racquetball, skateboarding, futvolei, soccer and sand volleyball, among others. Infrastructure: With one of the best infrastructure in the North Coast-SP, the high point is its inns and hotels that offer good taste, hospitality and personalized service in environments where the refinement is reflected in the natural. Additionally, bars, restaurants, campsites, discos and beach shacks meet tourist demand site.

Convento Nossa Senhora do Amparo: Em meados do séc. XVII (1640), o sesmeiro Antônio Coelho de Abreu doou terras e uma Capelinha da Nossa Senhora dos Desamparados aos padres franciscanos. Estes a partir de então instituíram em 1664 o Convento de Nossa Senhora do Amparo, tendo anexa a Capela da ordem terceira. O convento foi reconstruído pela Ordem entre 1932 e 1937.
Localizada a beira mar, o Convento e sua igreja compõem um dos passeios mais belos e interessantes que você pode encontrar. 

Convent of Our Lady of Perpetual Help: In the middle of the century. XVII (1640), the rabbit sesmeiro Antonio Abreu donated land and a Chapel of Our Lady of the Forsaken to the Franciscans. These thereafter instituted in 1664 the Convent of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, having annexed the Chapel of the Third Order. The monastery was rebuilt by the Portuguese between 1932 and 1937.

Located beachfront, the convent and the church make up one of the most scenic walks and interesting that you can find.

Guaecá:

Guaecá alterna dias de águas absolutamente calmas com dias de fortes ondas e muita correnteza.

A areia é clara e fofa e os morros atrás das casas é rico em Mata Atlântica. No canto sul da praia existem muitas trilhas rápidas que podem ser feitas ao redor da praia que chegam em praias desertas, ou prainhas (nome mais usado pelos residentes da região). O acesso a esses lugares é dificultado quando chove, pois a trilha fica encharcada e o único jeito de voltar das prainhas é nadando.

Guaecá é conhecida também pela Lenda da Gruta do Bicho: dizem que ali, há muito tempo atrás, habitava uma enorme serpente que devorava os navegantes que passavam pelos arredores.

Guaecá alternating days absolutely calm waters with days of strong waves and plenty of current.

The sand is light and fluffy and the hills behind the houses is rich in the Atlantic. In the southern corner of the beach there are many trails that can be made fast around the beach arriving on deserted beaches or little beaches (name most used by residents of the region). Access to these locations is difficult when it rains, because the trail is wet and the only way back is of little beaches swimming.

Guaecá is also known for Legend Cave Critters: say there, long ago, lived an enormous serpent that devoured sailors who passed by the area.

O nome da praia é de origem tupi e significa "lugar de dormir do padre", através da junção dos termos abaré ("padre"), kera("dormir") e saba ("lugar") .

Entre a praia e a rodovia, há várias casas de veraneio, hotéis, pousadas e restaurantes. Durante o verão, a atividade turística aumenta no local. A profundidade do mar cai lentamente (chegando ao ponto de, ao entrar uns vinte metros mar adentro, a linha d'água atingir somente a cintura) e as ondas são sempre fracas, o que faz da praia um ponto popular para banhistas e famílias com crianças.


The name of the beach is of Tupi origin and means "sleeping place of the Father," by combining the terms Abare ("Father"), kera ("sleep") and saba ("place") 1.
Between the beach and the highway, there are several vacation homes, hotels and restaurants. During the summer, the tourist activity increases in place. The depth of the sea falls slowly (to the point that, when entering twenty yards offshore, the water line reaches only the waist) and the waves are always weak, which makes the beach a popular spot for swimmers and families with child.
